The Duchess of Nightmares has consolidated her power over her pirate crew, but outside forces threaten her schemes. The Honor Guard promise justice, the Cursed Sword offer power, and the ancient Bridge offers passage somewhere. All the while, a trial looms and Bruce faces a terrible metamorphisis.
