S1E16 - The Midnight Throne (Part One)

200 years ago, the Knight of Eaves took up arms and drove a god from the sun, ending the disastrous Sunlit Century and returning the cycle of day and night. Peace did not follow quickly, but was strenuously rebuilt under their rule from the newfound Midnight Throne. Now they are gone, leaving only an egg as a potential successor. The other powers see this weakness, and they know that they must strike soon to claim the Throne for themselves. The Duchess of Nightmares schemes for it, the Cursed Sword raise their armies, the Tigers skulk and prowl at the edges. The hard-fought peacetime is at last coming to an end.
